To the editor:
I’m John Mellinger and I’m 84 years old. I fainted while playing several days ago, and a friend insisted she call for a wheelchair to take me to nearby Skiff Medical Center. I was there for about three days.
I was aware Skiff was a great facility, but the nurses surprised me. Three times a night, they answered my call to take me to the bathroom. They always smiled, never a complaint, and it made me feel great.
