Andrea M. Riggins, 31, of Maxwell was charged with driving while license suspended after officers performed a routine traffic stop at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday on Highway F36 West. Riggins was taken to jail.
Nathan R. Ross, 28, of Monroe was charged with driving while license revoked after officers performed a traffic stop at 6:25 p.m. on Saturday at Newton Street and Third Street in Reasnor. Ross was taken to jail.
William C. Nixon, 52, of Des Moines was charged with driving while license suspended after officers performed a routine traffic stop at 1:26 p.m. on Sunday at Pioneer Drive and Highway F48 West. Nixon was taken to jail.

A 14-year-old male was charged with Dissemination of obscene materials to a minor and indecent exposure after officers were dispatched at 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 to 821 S. 13th Ave. E. on report of a juvenile who had exposed himself to several minors. After being interviewed, the juvenile denied that he exposed himself and said a porngrpahic site accidently popped up on his phone and he couldn’t shut it off for two minutes. In that time, the juvenile said a seven-year-old saw the website.
A 16-year-old female of Newton was charged with assault after officers were dispatched at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 to the 300 block of 11th Avenue West in report of an assault. The victim said she was in a verbal argument with Laffoon when Laffoon picked up a stick and struck her once in the thigh and at least three time in the head.
Monica J. Loupee, 35, of Newton was cited for unsafe backing after striking a vehicle driven by Kenneth B. Doland, 66, of Newton. Officers were dispatched at 1:41 p.m. on Saturday to the 100 block of First Street North on report of an accident. Doland struck Loupee’s vehicle as she was backing out. Doland’s vehicle sustained $400 in damage and Loupee’s vehicle sustained $1,000 in damage.
Kristopher C. M. Walker, 34, of unknown residence was charged with criminal trespass after officers were dispatched at 12:25 p.m. on Sunday to 821 N. Second Ave. W. on report of an unwanted individual. upon arrival, the victim stated Walker had moved out and he was not on the lease. Officer’s said if he didn’t leave he would be charged with trespass. He was placed in jail.
