The Jasper County Historical Museum will be closed on Sunday and Monday in observance of Labor Day.
The museum will re-open for tours at 1 p.m. Tuesday, and the museum will close for the season Monday, Sept. 30. From October through April, tours may be arranged in advance by contacting the museum office at (641) 792-9118. The museum is at 1700 S. 15th Ave. W. in Newton.
