Newton junior Tristan Peters — Red team — finds running room on the outside edge against the Black team defense in the first offensive series of the scrimmage for the Cardinal varsity/junior varsity on Friday night. The Cardinals used the intra-squad scrimmage to tune-up for this Friday’s season opener at Norwalk.
