A lot of hard work goes into getting an animal ready for show at the Jasper County Fair. This specimen, after getting the scrub-down seen here, will be brushed and get a blow-dry in order to look its best for the judge in the show ring. The 4H/FFA Market Beef Show was held Tuesday afternoon at the Jasper County Fair.

Tuesday was a day for many livestock and animal shows at the Jasper County Fair.  The judge evaluates the livestock during the market steers class of the market beef show. 

Other events that took place at the fair on Tuesday included the 4H/FFA Swine Show, a horseshoe pitching contest, the presentation of Home Economics awards, the annual fashion revue and an exhibitors’ supper sponsored by Key Co-Op.
