Growth Energy renews American Ethanol 200 agreement

Growth Energy and Iowa Speedway announced last Saturday that their multi-year sponsorship agreement of the track’s ‘American Ethanol 200’ NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race has been extended for another racing season.

Iowa Speedway Chairman Conrad Clement and Growth Energy Vice President of Development Kelly Manning made the announcement just before the running of the 2013 American Ethanol 200.

“Growth Energy’s stakeholders – the producers and supporters of American Ethanol – are pleased that we have renewed our entitlement sponsorship with one of Iowa Speedway’s premier events, the ‘American Ethanol 200’, presented this year by the Enogen brand,” said Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis in a Speedway news release.

“Together, we are able to emphasize the power and performance of American Ethanol while clearly demonstrating the positive economic and environmental benefits of reducing our dependency on foreign oil.”

Clement was equally enthusiastic about the promotional partnership renewal with Growth Energy.

“The ‘American Ethanol 200’ has become one of the mainstays of our racing season, and that has given us the ability to highlight the importance of Ethanol to race fans throughout the United States,” Clement said.  “With Growth Energy’s continued partnership next year, Iowa Speedway will also play an increasingly important role in showcasing the viability of corn-based Ethanol in all forms of motorsports.”

Tickets and weekend passes for the balance of Iowa Speedway's 2013 racing season, which continues on August 2-3 with the second of two NASCAR Nationwide Series event weekends, are available at the track's Ticket Office in Newton, online at www.iowaspeedway.com, or through the toll-free ticketing hotline, 866-RUSTY-GO (787-8946).  The second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series weekend, and final event of this year, will be on Saturday and Sunday, September 7-8.
