Travelin’ Traffic Ace XVII drawing winner

Calvin Winningham of Newton, pictured with Newton Police Officer Randy Camp, is the Newton Police Department’s Travelin’ Traffic Ace XVII drawing winner from the first traffic safety mug distribution. As a drawing winner, Calvin received a package of donated prizes, including a family bowling party from Cardinal Lanes, two complimentary passes to the Capitol II Theater, a coupon for a free fruit pie at Perkins, a free two-piece meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken, two free buffets at Pizza Ranch, three Free Taco John’s breakfast combo meals, three free Taco John’s combo meals, one free 6-inch sandwich at Subway and three free two-scoop sundaes from Culver’s. The Travelin’ Traffic Ace XVII campaign features a travel mug awarded by a police officer who observes drivers displaying safe and courteous driving. The travel mug is refillable with free fountain soda pop provided by local participating businesses.  The campaign runs through August.
