Thursday’s 'Horsepower Hour’ to feature star-studded guest roster
Some of racing’s biggest stars will be guests on this Thursday’s edition of Iowa Speedway’s popular motorsports radio talk show, Horsepower Hour. Broadcast in front of a live audience inside the track’s fabulous Newton Club, the show will air on KIX 101.1 FM from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, and race fans are invited to attend free of charge.
The star-studded lineup of guests making live appearances on the show is headlined by Chase Elliott, the 17 year old wunderkind, son of NASCAR legend “Awesome” Bill Elliott, who won the May 2012 K&N Pro Series East vs. West challenge race at Iowa Speedway and, in his fourth-ever NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start this Saturday night, will be contending to become the youngest winner in NASCAR Truck Series history.
Other special guests on the show will include Series Director and former NASCAR Cup star Chad Little, who drove the #97 John Deere sponsored car for Roush Racing, multi-time ARCA winner and NASCAR Truck standout Dakoda Armstrong, and 9 time ARCA national champion Frank Kimmel, who will be discussing his inaugural ‘Street Stock Nationals’, which are slated for a 7:30 pm start this Friday, July 12.
