Jasper County Conservation is offering a fun, hands-on program all about Iowa streams from 9 to 10 a.m. Mondays in July.

Attendees will learn what a watershed is and how water moves through the ecosystem by use of streams. Participants also will investigate mysterious animal tracks to discover what type of animals live near a stream and will make their own fishing pole from recycled materials.

All programs will be at the Ashton Observatory except for the July 29 program, which will be at Oswalt Bridge.

Registration is required by calling (641) 792-9780.
