Summer Worship Time Change for First UMC

Published: Wednesday, July 3, 2013 11:18 a.m. CDT

Beginning Sunday, the First United Methodist Church, 210 N. Second. Ave. E., will have one blended worship service at 9 a.m. for the months of July and August. The blended service will include both traditional and contemporary music and will bring the two church services together for those two months. The Park Centre worship service will remain at 10 a.m. Kingdown School will start at 10:15 a.m.

During July and August, Pastor Gary Marzolf will be preaching a series of sermons on what it means to be an “Externally Focused Church.” Each Sunday, he will leave you with something to think about, something to talk about, and something to act upon.

There will be an insert in the bulletin that attendees can fill out and turn in following the service during the week or the following Sunday.

A nursery is available for infants and small children for both worship and Kingdom School.
