Prairie City woman appointed to state council

Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad’s office released Monday a list of all appointments the governor has made to state boards and commissions since March 1. Among those on the list was a Prairie City woman.

Rebecca Criswell was appointed to the Statewide Independent Living Council. Criswell currently is employed by the Iowa Department For the Blind as a senior service specialist. The list did not indicate when Criswell was appointed.
