Jasper County Sheriff’s Department
• Richard Clair Lewis, 49, of Grinell was arrested at 5:39 p.m. Wednesday on an outstanding warrant. Lewis was taken into the Jasper County Jail for failing to appear in court for an initial hearing for an operating under the influence charge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
