Entries are needed for the Jasper County 4-H and FFA Parade, scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, July 22, in Colfax.
Only floats need to be registered. Open division floats will line up on Broadway Street west of the grade school. Old cars will line up on Spring Street. 4-H and FFA floats will line up on Broadway south of the grade school.
For safety purposes, nothing is to be thrown from any unit in the parade. People may walk alongside the road and distribute items, but no paper leaflets or brochures of any kind are allowed to be distributed.
All horses will unload at Kelly Field in the parking lot. There will be no parking on West Street. To enter a float, contact Larry Glasford at (515) 249-8419 and leave a message.
