The Colfax Music in the Park is set for Saturday at Anspach Stage in Women’s Club Park, located at 13 E. Division St. in Colfax, and will include a performance by One Nite Stand and the Jasper County Fair Queen Coronation.
One Nite Stand plays smooth jazz, R&B, funk and soul. They play music from artists such as Prince, Temptations, Kenny Garret, James Brown, Miles Davis, Michael Jackson, The Crusaders and Marvin Gaye. Band members are Scott Willsey, guitar, vocals; Larry Sykes, bass, vocals; Jeff Nelson, keyboards, vocals; and Justin Whistler, drums.
The Jasper County Fair Board will serve dinner to raise money for its organization and will crown the fair queen at 7 p.m.
All Music in the Park performances take place the third Saturday of June, July and August.
The next concert will be Saturday, July 20, with Fine Line and Cash Only performing.
