Coffee time at museum Saturday

The Jasper County Historical Museum will be hosting coffee time from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the museum.  

Homemade coffeecake and coffee will be available for $1 each with free refills on the coffee. The event will be in the barn, which will be open for viewing.  

The museum will open for full tours at 1 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 4 p.m. The museum is located at 1700 S. 15th Ave. W. in Newton. The museum will be offering the coffee, coffeecake and conversation event every first and third Saturday in June, July and August.
