The Muscular Dystrophy Association is hosting a lock-up at Pizza Ranch in Newton from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday to raise funds for more than 600 children and adults fighting neuromuscular disease in the Central Iowa.
Being a jailbird is an easy and fun way to network with other area business and community leaders. Participants go to “jail” and recruit others to bail them out. Participants turn themselves in, get their mug shots taken, receive lunch on the house, mingle with other jailbirds and then at the end of their hour hand over their bail to be released for good behavior.
