Greg and Jennifer Carson of Newton announce the birth of twin daughters, Isabella Ray Carson and Gracie May Carson, on April 18, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Isabella weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 21.5 inches in length. Gracie weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces, was was 19 inches in length. They are welcomed home by three siblings, Bridget Carson, 15; Devin Carson, 13; and Indy Carson, 8.
Grandparents are Bill Winters and Vickie and the late Steve Carson, all of Newton, and Mary Tratchel of Galesburg.
Great-grandparents are Jane Firkins, Joan Carson and Ella Ashby, all of Newton, and Chuck and Marilyn Samson of Prairie City.
