In the May 16 edition, a police blotter entry incorrectly stated Megan D. Daniels, 31, of Newton and Natasha J. Cooper, 26, of Colfax had been evicted from a vacant rental property at 469 W. 24th St. N. in Newton for non-payment of rent. Daniels and Cooper were charged for allegedly trespassing on the property but were not former tenants of the house.
In yesterday’s Jeanne Bridenstine article she was incorrectly identified as the Chair of Democratic Party for the state of Iowa. Bridenstine served on the State Central Committee representing the 4th district.
