Sugar Grove

The Sugar Grove Ladies Farm Bureau Club held their April meeting at the home of Betty E. Snook. President Barbara Gannon presided as secretary Beverly Curtis read the minutes and Colette Hill gave a treasurer’s report. Six members and three guests answered roll call with a current event. A lively discussion ensued as the ladies talked about the North Korean missile crisis, whether teenagers should receive a mandatory life sentence for murder and the new tax assessment on property. Colette Hill told of plans to have a large barn added to the Sugar Grove Gathering Place to accommodate large weddings, reunions, and other events.
