Paying Some Long-Deserved Respect

A visitor to The Wall That Heals reads through names listed on the memorial prior to the closing ceremony at Maytag Park on Sunday afternoon. Warm temperatures and sunny skies drew a crowd to the ceremony, which included the playing of "Taps" and a moment of silence for the four men from Jasper County who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.
