Reps. Tom Shaw (R-Laurens), Larry Sheets (R-Moulton), and Greg Heartsill (R-Columbia) and were chosen to host Turkish Counsul General Fatih Yildiz (third from left) of the Chicago Consulate at the Iowa Statehouse last week. The legislators gave Yildiz an extended tour of the Capitol and answered numerous questions about Iowa's culture, industry, and form of government. Heartsill commented, "I enjoyed my time with Counsul General Yildiz. I was very honored to have been chosen by the International Relations Committee to serve as a member of Yildiz's host reception."
