The Jasper County Conservation Board will host its monthly Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors program for senior citizens beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Jasper County Community Center in Newton.
This month the topic is “Container Gardening” and the program will include ideas for limited space gardening. Participants are invited to bring their own containers to pot a tomato plant to take home. Coffee and treats also will be served.
