Final ‘Sundays at Four’ show of season on May 5

First Presbyterian Church of Newton will conclude its “Sundays at Four” concert series at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5, featuring its annual Collaboration Concert. 

The concert will showcase the talents of the First Presbyterian Chancel Choir,  NHS Varsity Chorale and Central College Chamber Singers. In addition to selections by each ensemble, the choirs will join forces to sing Haydn’s classic “The Heavens Are Telling” from “The Creation;” Randall Stroope’s moving “Omnia Sol;” Hall Johnson’s timeless spiritual “Ain’ Got Time To Die;” and John Rutter’s “The Lord Bless You and Keep You.” Accompaniment will be provided by Sandy Smit and Marlys Grimm. 

A freewill offering will be accepted, and refreshments will be served afterward.
