Fair Housing Month

Newton Board of Realtors members Krista Clark, Lisa McKinney, Caren Clevenger, Geri Doyle, Ed Siddall, Les Morgan, Kristi Cummins, Bob McClooney, Heather Feenstra and Deb Cross celebrate the signing of a proclamation by Mayor Mike Hansen (front) declaring April Fair Housing Month. The program is a celebration of the fair housing laws practiced by the many realtors in the city. The group also met with the Iowa Attorney General's Office to review housing laws.
