There were plenty of weather cancellations from in and around Jasper County on Friday afternoon. Collins-Maxwell-Baxter canceled all of its sporting events last Friday, and no make up dates were announced. Those events included a golf triangular at Story City, a dual track meet at Eldora-New Providence and a girls’ soccer game at Webster City. Lynnville-Sully canceled each of its events as well. Those included a varsity golf invitational at Iowa Valley, as well as both track meets. Prairie City-Monroe canceled its girls soccer match at Knoxville.
