MAT Tumbling earns state titles

Members of the MAT USAG Tumbling Team competed in Des Moines at Lincoln High School for the state USAG Championships over the weekend. Athletes competed on trampoline, double-mini trampoline, and floor. Many MAT team members took first place, and several earned the title of state champion.

The MAT team members all qualified to move on to Kansas City to compete at the USAG National level in July. MAT team member Allison Trowbridge mobilized from level 10 to the Junior Elite level and will begin competing for a spot to make the USA Power tumbling team and represent the United States at the world championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Level 5 — Age 7-8: Sara Huffman, first place; Kyah Siegert, first place. Level 5 boy — Age 13-14: Jarret Schuster, first place. Level 6 — Age 15 and over: Savannah Olson, second place: Level 7 — Age 11-12: Alyvia Chadderdon, third place. Age 13-14 — Maddi Kruse, second place. Level 8 — Age 11-12: Stacey Slaven, first place. Age 13-14 — Stephanie Slaven, first place. Level 8 — Age 15 and over: Chelsea Trotter, first place. Level 9 — Age 11-12: Samantha Trowbridge, first place. Age 13-14 — Morgann Eide, first place. Age 15 and over: Mackensie Schuster, first place. Level 10 — Age 11-12: Allison Trowbridge, first place.
