Arlene Johnston, 76, of Fremont, Neb., formerly of Newton, passed away April 4, 2013.
She graduated from the Newton Senior High School Class of 1954. Arlene married Max Johnston in 1959. Preceding her in death were her parents, eight siblings and her husband in 1981.
Those surviving are her children, Scott Johnston and Sheryl (Scott) Brown; her grandchildren, Andrew Brown and Sarrianna Johnston; her brother, James (Marilyn) Humke of Newton; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
