Jasper County Conservation intern to present program on experience in Costa Rica

The Jasper County Conservation Board and Jasper County Elderly Nutrition will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors program Wednesday at the Jasper County Community Center.  

The public is invited to come for 10 a.m. coffee and a presentation by Greg Oldsen, intern with Jasper County Conservation, on his study abroad experience in Costa Rica and Belize. Oldsen will give share about the people who live in the tropics as well as the plants and animals he saw on his trip.

The O.W.L.S. program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world. For more information, contact the Jasper County Conservation Board office at (641) 792-9780.
