Band Extravaganza showcases student talent

The Newton Community School District hosted the annual Band Extravaganza in the NHS gym on Monday, March 11. The evening featured middle school bands from fifth through eighth grade as well as the NHS Wind Ensemble and the NHS Symphonic Band. In preparation for the show, many experienced and older musicians helped to mentor the elementary and middle school participants.
