In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, registered dietician Jenny Thompson, RD., LD., CDE., led a cooking class for children Saturday in the Hy-Vee Club Room. The children made green foods, from broccoli cheese soup and kiwi smoothies to shamrock pretzel bites and leprechaun cake. Taylor Maki, 7, and Thompson stir the soup.
