A Knee-High Naturalists program, offered the third Thursday of each month, on plants and seeds is planned for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Newton Arboretum.

The educational sessions for 3- to 5-year-olds are discovery based and focused on encouraging first connections with the natural world. Each program includes a story, activity and group-directed exploration. The program is free and open to the public.
