Loretta Alicia (Mrs. David) Young, 88, formerly of Newton and Altoona, died Friday, March 1, 2013, in St. Louis, Mo.

A vigil prayer service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, with visitation to follow from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Saints John & Paul Catholic Church in Altoona. Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 6, at 9:30 a.m. at the church, with a funeral mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton has been entrusted with arrangements.
