Iowa teen accused of sexually abusing three teen girls

FAIRFAX (AP) — A 16-year-old boy in eastern Iowa has been accused of sexually abusing three teenage girls.

The boy from Fairfax was charged Tuesday in Linn County District Court with three counts of third-degree sexual abuse. A criminal complaint says two of the alleged victims are 13 and one is 14.

A complaint says the incidents happened in early January. The Gazette reported the boy told police that he had sex with the girls.

The boy is being charged as an adult and faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

The Associated Press generally does not name juveniles accused of crimes.
