Anna Latcham as Tzeitel, Tim Stammeyer as Tevye and Daniel Maurer as Motel Kamzoil act out a scene during the NHS Drama Club’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof” on Saturday at the Newton Senior High School Center for Performance. In this scene, Latcham and Maurer’s characters ask Stammeyer’s permission to be joined in marriage as Stammeyer debates tradition versus the changing times his community is faced with.

Newton Senior High School’s senior thespians take to the stage for the final curtain call following Saturday’s performance of “Fiddler on the Roof.” Students participated not only in the performance of the classic musical, but in the building of the set, the stage crew and the orchestra as well.
