In conjunction with the First Avenue Speakeasy, the South Skunk Blues Society has scheduled a weekend full of Iowa Blues Hall of Famers to perform during the Big Blues Weekend this Friday and Saturday. 

Iowa Blues Hall of Famer bassist Scott Cochran and local guitarist Nick Knudsen will join JJ Express on Friday evening at the Speakeasy, while much-lauded and awarded Hall of Famers Joe and Vicki Price visit on Saturday night in conjunction with the South Skunk Blues Society’s Almost Legal Nightlife Series.

Both performances run from 8 to 11 p.m. at the First Avenue Speakeasy with no cover charge.
