Lakshmipathy to speak on Hinduism at local church
Manjunath Lakshmipathy of the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Iowa will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Congregation United Church of Christ, 308 E. Second St. N. in Newton.
He will present the general definitions, practices, rituals and traditions of Hinduism. There will be a time for questions and answers following his presentation. All are welcome, and light refreshments will be served.
