Equal rights DVD program planned for LWV meeting
The Jasper County League of Women Voters will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Park Centre Garden Room.
The program will be a DVD featuring an interview with the author, Lawrence Goldstone, about his book “Inherently Unequal, The Betrayal of Equal Rights by the Supreme Court 1865-1903.” Anyone interested in this program or learning more about our organization is invited to attend.
