Police Blotter

• Four Newton Senior High School students were charged with disorderly conduct after authorities investigated a fight reported at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 19 at the high school. Those charged included a 15-year-old Newton male and 16-year-old Brandon Woods, 16-year-old Scotty W. Allspach and 17-year-old Jeremy J. Dossie, all of Newton. They were referred to juvenile court services.

• Jourdan L. Flake, 16, of Newton and a 14-year-old Newton female were charged with disorderly conduct after authorities investigated a fight at Newton Senior High School reported at 11:50 a.m. Feb. 19. Both girls were referred to juvenile court services.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. It is the policy of the Newton Daily News to release the names of individuals charged with a crime who are 16 and older.
