Chris and Selina McKinney of Newton announce the birth of their son, Gabriel Lee McKinney, on Feb. 7, 2013, at Methodist West in West Des Moines.
He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20.5 inches in length. He was welcomed home by a brother, William, 2.
Grandparents are Mike and Liz Roberts of Deep River and John and Cheryl McKinney of Seymour.
Great-grandparents are Melvin and Merleta Roberts and Betty Van Dee, all of Deep River, and Louise McKinney of Newton.
