Fighting Hunger

Dozens of area residents — including Isaac Friedman, 11; Abby Hobbs, 9; and Sarah Templeman, 10 — gathered Saturday morning to package meals for Jasper County Kids Against Hunger. The participating teams packaged more than 19,000 meals, and the local Kids Against Hunger organization has provided more than 200,000 meals to those in need since 2009.
