"Zero Dark Thirty" (R; 2 hrs. 37 min.) is the chronicle of a CIA operative's decade-long hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks, and his death at the hands of the Navy S.E.A.L. Team 6 in May 2011. Maya, the operative, is a reluctant practitioner of extreme interrogation techniques, but believes the truth may only be obtained through such tactics. When it finally appears her work has paid off, she is the only person confident the terrorist mastermind is where she says he is.
