High school orientation for eighth graders Feb. 19 at Newton high school

An orientation for eighth grade students going into ninth grade for he 2013-2014 school year will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, in the Newton Senior High School Center for Performance.
Emphasis will be placed on the selection of classes and making a smooth transition. All eighth grade students and their parents are encouraged to attend.
