Jasper County native new Iowa Pork Queen
Breanna Branderhorst of Prairie City accomplishes lifelong goal by winning pork queen
First she conquered Jasper County, then the State of Iowa. Next up, the world.
The state of Iowa has a new Pork Queen and she is Breanna Branderhorst of Prairie City. The current freshman at Iowa State University is thrilled by her appointment by the Iowa Pork Producers Association and plans on making her community proud with her newfound royal status.
“I wanted it for awhile,” Branderhorst said. “My sister was a princes two years ago. And after watching her compete I knew I wanted to do it.”
