It was a tough night for the Lynnville-Sully wrestling team on Thursday, as the Hawks fell to English Valleys 40-36 and Iowa Valley 57-16.

In the English Valleys dual, the Hawks scored all 36 of their points on forfeits, which occured at 120, 126, 138, 145, 138 and 152.

Things didn't get much better against Iowa Valley, but the Hawks did manage some contested victories in the dual. Junior Caden Doll earned an 11-3 major decision at 160, Noah Zylstra stuck his opponent at 170 and Jack Hardin also scored a pin at 182.
