Howard G. Berkenbosch, 86, of Newton died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the Mercy Hospice – Johnston in Johnston.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Reasnor United Methodist Church, 425 Newton St. in Reasnor. The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 14, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. A public Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials to the Reasnor United Methodist Church, Skiff Hospice, or to Mercy Hospice may be left at the funeral home or at the church on the morning of the service. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home, please add, Attn: Berkenbosch Family on the envelope.
