Pink Nose/Blue Toes 5K race to benefit pediatric patients

Skiff Medical Center once again will bring new meaning to the term “a cold sweat” during the second annual Pink Nose/Blue Toes 5K on Saturday, Jan. 26. All money raised from the winter run/walk will go toward pediatric therapy supplies for children receiving services from Skiff’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department.

Anyone is invited to walk, run or jog their way through Newton’s chilliest 5K. Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 8 a.m. in the lower level of the Ross Medical Arts Building at 300 N. Fourth Ave. E., with the 5K beginning at 9 a.m.

Cost to participate is $20, and those who register by Friday will receive a commemorative race gift of a custom 16 oz. hot/cold travel mug. Race day registrations will be accepted for $25, including the race gift.
