Local businesses, organizations donate to courthouse lighting fund

Steve Knight of the Courthouse Lighting Committee accepts donations from Rob Kahn of First Newton National Bank (right), residents of McCann Village (top) and Carmen VanderLeest (above) representing UAW Local 997 during the month of December. Knight explained that, as of the final month of 2012, nearly 75 percent of the funds for next season's Courthouse Lighting have been secured.
