• Kelly N. Hardie, 25, of Newton was charged Monday with possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated following an investigation by authorities into an accident on Oct. 14. Hardie allegedly had bags of marijuana in her possession, and a urine sample tested positive for marijuana. Hardie was located at 1806 S. Seventh Ave. E. #12 and arrested. She was released to appear in court.

• Logan E. Harlow, 23, of Newton was charged with second-degree criminal mischief after authorities responded to a vandalism complaint at 9:41 p.m. Dec. 10 at 115 W. Second St. N. Harlow was charged for allegedly keying a vehicle, causing an estimated $1,601.39 in damage. He was taken to jail.
