Noon Kiwanis thanks Newton businesses for allowing bell ringers

To the editor:

The Newton Noon Kiwanis Club would like to thank Fareway, Hy-Vee, Theisen’s, True-Value and Walmart for allowing us to ring the bells for the Salvation Army this past Friday. Allowing us to use their businesses helped the Salvation Army and thus helped the less fortunate of Newton and Jasper County.

We especially want to thank all of you who gave. Young and old, rich or poor, you amazed us with your generosity. The Salvation Army and Kiwanis thank you very much.
