Jane ‘Jean’ Bucklin

Jane “Jean” Bucklin, 87, a longtime resident of Baxter, died on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, following a short illness.

Jean was born on Nov. 1, 1925, in Glasgow, Scotland, to William Bowers and Anne (Campbell) McReynolds Bowers,

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Russell of Baxter; four daughters, Shirley (Bruce) Nuzum of Newton, Linda (Chuck) Oliver of Knoxville, Barbara Clarahan of Des Moines and Vickie Lane of Newton; her great-niece, Helen Anderson of Neilston, East Renfrewshire, Scotland; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
